There is no on-site parking available, however, we have agreed special rates with Q-Park City Hall car park just 400m or 5 minutes walk away. Parking from 5.00pm to 12 noon the following day is €9,24 hours parking €13, 48 hours parking €26, 48 hours parking €25, 72 hours parking €35. To avail of our car parking facility, please park in the hotel set down area outside the main entrance of the hotel, on check-in the receptionist will give you directions to Q Park in City Hall. It would be an idea to bring in your luggage when you check-in and we can hold it at the reception while you park.
From Dublin (M7 / M8), approximately 260 km, 3-hour drive. Take the M7 from Dublin and exit left for Cork sign posted the M8 just after the toll just after Portlaoise and travel straight to Cork; At the Dunkettle Interchange (N25), take 3rd exit to Cork city centre; Junction with R639 at roundabout forward – direction city centre; Travel along Andersons Quay. Forward through 1st set of lights (Penrose Wharf on right) turn left; Take Copley street to South Mall; Continue on Old Station road for 140 metres; Continue on Copley street for 240 metres; Turn left onto Union Quay; Turn right on Georges Quay R610; Turn right onto Parliament Street; Turn right onto South Mall and the hotel will be at the end of the street – 400m.

Travel straight to the next set of light and travel over the bridge, turning right. The opera house will be in front of you. Turn right immediately after the Opera House take a right towards Half Moon Street Go straight through you will then turn right onto St. Patrick’s Street and continue along Grand Parade and onto South Mall. The hotel is located at the end of South Mall
Maldron Hotel South Mall is 8 km from Cork International Airport. On leaving the Airport, continue to the roundabout taking the first exit down airport hill, straight at the lights. At the Kinsale Rd roundabout take the 2nd exit travelling on the South Link – continue to the end of the link at the lights take a right.Continue along Georges Quay over the bridge onto South Mall. The hotel is at the end of the South Mall

From Kent Train Station – Hotel Near Cork Train Station. Maldron Hotel South Mall is only a 10 minute walk from Kent Train Station. Come out of the train station and exit left from the station and following the footpath and head towards the River Lee; Once you are alongside the river you will see the bus station in front of you; The hotel is to the left of the station.From Cork Parnell Place Bus Station Maldron Hotel South Mall is opposite Cork Parnell Place Bus Station.Come out of the bus station and exit left and left again and you will see the Hotel’s Italian Kitchen; The main hotel entrance will be on South Mall which is just around the corner.

Check-out is by 11am. The morning of your departure, you will receive an email at 7:00am containing a link to check-out and pay for your stay. An electronic receipt is available upon settlement. All that’s left is to leave your key at reception on departure.
