Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork City has negotiated rates for our guests with Q-Park Carroll’s Quay Car Park, located just 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Overnight parking (5.00pm to 12.00 noon) is for €10 overnight, €18 for 24 hour and €36 for 48 hours. On-street parking available in the immediate locality at €2.50 for 2 hours. You must return every 2 hours to renew the disc between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm daily, complimentary parking street-side outside of these times and Sundays. Discs are available from the hotel reception. There are a very limited number of complimentary parking spaces available at the hotel allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
By Train: Cork Kent Station is 1.2km from our hotel, approximately 10-15 minutes’ walk or €5 by taxi (depending on traffic). Timetables for each route served by Kent Station can be found here.By Bus: The nearest bus station, Parnell Place is 700m from the hotel and is reached in 10-minutes by walking. By Plane: Our hotel is only 8.5km away from Cork Airport, a short 15-minutes’ drive. Arriving at Cork Airport taxis are readily available, the typical fare is €20 (subject to traffic). Alternatively, Bus Éireann route 226 operates regular service from Cork Airport, with Kent Station being reached in just under 25-minutes. By Bike:TFI Bikes are available for rental across Cork City.
